A True Homecoming

My Marigold Summer began long before it had a name.

After years of living across continents and working in policy, research, communications, and early-stage startups, there was one constant that never left me — my love and fascination for India. No matter where I was, the colors, textiles, stories, and quiet magic of home followed me.

Travelling through small towns, craft clusters, and the everyday poetry of our cities, I realised something simple but powerful: India doesn’t need noise to be seen. Its beauty is in the slow work of hands, the warmth of its people, and the legacy woven into its fabrics.

My Marigold Summer is my ode to that India — the one I grew up with, the one I rediscovered after leaving, and the one I want to share with the world through my eyes. Every piece is shaped by the places I’ve lived in, the artisans I’ve met, and the stories that have shaped me.
